VERDEMIX® Stitched Hybrid Turf Technology

VERDEMIX® is an advanced hybrid turf technology designed to reinforce natural grass sports surfaces. By stitching synthetic fibres into the natural grass profile, the system delivers significantly longer playing hours than conventional natural grass while enhancing surface stability, safety, and overall performance.

Advanced Hybrid Stitching Technology

VERDEMIX® is installed using state-of-the-art self-propelled stitching machines. Synthetic fibres are stitched into the natural grass system to a depth of up to 18 cm, with the stitching depth adjustable to meet specific project requirements.

The synthetic fibres not only reinforce the natural grass but also stabilize the sand root zone, ensuring a consistently even and durable playing surface.

Fast Installation

Using a single VERDEMIX® stitching machine operating on a 24-hour schedule, a full-size football pitch can typically be completed and ready for use within 12–13 days.

When project deadlines are particularly tight, two machines can operate simultaneously, reducing the installation time to less than one week.

Long-Term Performance and Easy Maintenance

When maintained according to the recommended maintenance procedures, VERDEMIX® hybrid pitches can deliver outstanding performance for at least 10 years.

The organic root zone can be renovated as easily as on a conventional natural grass pitch. Routine maintenance also allows groundskeepers to:

• Adjust surface firmness or softness.

• Optimize traction according to player and coaching preferences.

• Maintain healthy natural grass growth throughout the life of the field.

Flexible Installation Options

VERDEMIX® can be installed at different stages of pitch construction depending on the project schedule:

• Stitching into the sand-based root zone before seeding.

• Stitching into young, newly established grass.

• Stitching into mature turf grown in a nursery and installed immediately before the stitching process.

For optimum results, the sub-base profile must be prepared according to VERDEMIX® technical specifications.

Note: The VERDEMIX® stitched hybrid system should only be installed on surfaces that meet the required construction standards.

The synthetic fibres used in VERDEMIX® have been carefully selected for their exceptional durability, long-term flexibility, and ability to return to their original upright position year after year.
